Privateer le Duguay Trouin fitted out at Lubeck captured ships of Mecklenburg according to the Dutch newspaper Advertentiën, aankondigingen en verschillend dated 5 August 1813

An item reported that the privateer le Duguay Trouin captain Romain Godart fitted out at Lubeck in the waters around Fehmern two ships of Mecklenburg loaded with planks were captured. Another newspaper Dagblad van het department Vriesland dated 8 September reported that a Swedish ship of the line and a English brig were in the neighbourhood tried to capture both prizes. The Danish governor of Fehmern however interfered by sending artillery to the coast which fired at both ships forcing to retreat.
