American whaler Eliza F. Mason lying in the Bay of Islands, New Zealand according to the Whalemen’s Shipping List dated Tuesday 30 August 1859

A letter written by captain Smith on board of the whaler Eliza F. Mason of New Bedford, USA reported her lying in the Bay of Islands, New Zealand on 16^th April with a catch of 10 barrels sperm, 1.480 barrels whale oil and 1.300 lbs bone.(1)
