Russian 3-mast schooner Uku coming from Demerara bound for Middelburg, Netherlands according to the Dutch newspaper Middelburgsche Courant dated 29 January 1908

An item reported that in the roads of Vlissingen, Netherlands several ship were lying of which the departure was delayed by storm. This included the Russian 3-mast schooner Uku coming from Demerara bound for Middelburg, Netherlands. She was loaded with greenheart beams for account of the Dutch firm N.V. Houthandel voorheen Alberts&Co. There was no tug available to tow her into the harbour.
