Commanding officer of the Dutch brig Zr. Ms. Haai replaced according to the Dutch newspaper Middelburgsche Courant dated 14 November 1850

An item reported that captain lieutenant F. Sluyter replaced captain lieutenant W. Steffens as commanding officer of the Dutch brig Zr. Ms. De Haai (1) lying at Hellevoetsluis, Netherlands. Steggens was placed on non-active, Sluyter had been 1st officer of the guard ship De Schelde lying there and was replaced by captain lieutenant J.C. du Cloux.

Brig 1st class, on stocks at the navy yard at Rotterdam, Netherlands by Glavimans on 29 October 1838, launched on 11 May 1842, docked at the navy yard at Hellevoetsluis, Netherlands 30 December 1842-12 January 1843, 25 October 1849-27 March 1850 and 18-20 February 1851, last mentioned in 1861, dimensions 31,50 x 9,5 x 4,50 metres, 546 tons displacement and an armament of 18 guns.

Glavimans on 1 March 1813, renamed Schelde 1815, launched November 1817, guard ship 1842, broken up by private persons at Hellevoetsluis, Netherlands 1853, 1460 tons displacement, dimensions 145 x 36,8 x 19 French feet and an armament of 44 guns.
