Crew of sinking Russian bark Mainio saved by German fishing vessel Amalia according to the Dutch newspaper Rotterdamsch nieuwsblad dated 20 November 1895

An item dated Bremen, Germany 16th reported that the Russian bark ship Mainio underway from Borga [Porvoo, Finland?] towards Antwerp, Belgium was abandoned at sea by her crew. The edition of the 19th reported that her crew of 11 persons was saved by the passing steam fishing vessel Amalie from Geestemunde, Germany. The Mainio was discovered in sinking condition on the North Sea.
