Dutch corvette Zr. Ms. Pallas stationed along the west coast of Sumatra, Dutch East Indies according to the Dutch newspaper Nederlandsche Staatscourant dated 26 February

Zr. Ms. Bromo

An item reported that since the last received account the Dutch corvette Zr. Ms. Pallas (1) in the first part of July 1862 and between 7-11 August 1862 cruised several times around the south at the same time surveying. She was stationed at the west coast of Sumatra. She was replaced on 6 September 1862 by the Dutch steamship Zr. Ms. Bromo (2) and arrived on the 9th at Padang, Dutch East Indies and from on the 16th the roads of Batavia, Dutch East Indies.
