Dutch screw steamship 3rd class Het Loo stationed along the east coast of Sumatra, Dutch East Indies according to the Dutch newspaper Nederlandsche Staatscourant dated 26 February 1863

An item reported that since the last received account the Dutch steamship Zr.Ms. Het Loo (1) after undergoing some repairs at Surabaya, Dutch East Indies departed Surabaya on 25 September 1862, anchored on the 28th in the roads of Batavia, Dutch East Indies and went from there to the station East coast of Sumatra, Dutch East Indies. Immediately after her arrival there was a buoy laid along the south side of the Frederik Hendrik Rotsen [rocks]. On 8 November1862 she replaced the Zr. Ms. Samarang.(2) On 13th November 1862 assisted her crew and that of the government steamship on the station the British steamship Elgin stranded on Karang Hadji. After she took over the mail of the Zr. Ms. Haarlemmermeer departed the Het Loo on 23 November 1862 from Muntok and arrived on the 26th in the roads of Batavia. On 30th departed she from there with mail towards Muntok.

Fijenoord at Rotterdam, Netherlands on 15 September 1845, launched in September 1846, stricken in 1863, displacement 400 tons, dimensions 38,00 x 7,21 x 2,85 metres, horsepower 70nhp, an armament of 7 guns and a crew numbering 49 men.
