France buying transports in England for the China expedition according to the Dutch newspaper Opregte Haarlemsche Courant dated 26 October 1859

An item dated Paris, France 22nd reported that the French naval captain Bourgeois went in begin to London, England with the order to buy 10 in England built large transports. His mission was successful and the ships were already sent to Toulon, France.(1)
