Dutch 2nd charter Alkmaar, also called Poort van Alkmaar and Wapen van Alkmaar 1693-1712

Of the admiralty Noorderkwartier, built at Hoorn or at Medemblik, Netherlands in 1693, last mentioned in 1712, dimensions 156 (prow)/ 133½ (keel)  x 41 x 15, height deck 7½, height bak and halfdeck 7 feet, an armament of 70-74 guns and a crew numbering 340-496 men. Commanding officers 1696 captain Jacob Roos part of squadron Philips van Alomonde operating with the British in Channel attacking the French west coast and islands and in July 1700 captain Bolck, part of fleet lieutenant admiral Van Almonde tot keep open the Sont and fight against the Danish.
