Dutch lugger Nestorine II stranded and lost at the Hinder according to the Dutch newspaper Rotterdamsch nieuwsblad dated 4 December 1899

An item dated Maassluis, Netherlands 1st reported that the Dutch lugger Nestorine II master J. Oostveen was stranded at the Hinder in the Nieuwe Gat near the red buoy no. 4. Her crew of 14 men was saved by the steam rescue boat and landed at Hoek van Holland, Netherlands. The lugger was expected to be lost. Later was reported that her crew departed with the train towards Vlaardingen, Netherlands. Although she was leaking she was still not wrecked. On board was 17 last herring. Tugs and so-called blazers were nearby. That afternoon tried the Dutch tug Katwijk unsuccessful to get nearer to the lugger. The edition dated 5th published an item dated Goedereede, Netherlands 4th reporting the capsizing of the Nestorine II and that there was no longer any sight of her.
