Dutch shipyard Kon. Mij. De Schelde at Vlissingen, Netherlands manufactured steam engine and boilers for Dutch tug Titan in 1894

The engine and boilers were to be placed in the tug Titan built in 1894 for account of the firm ZürMuhlen. In the order administration dated 17/29 March 1894 was the order for account of shipyard of Rijkée&co., Charlois described as the delivery of a triple compound engine of 850 hp 18” x 28”x 46”x 30” (engine number 144) and steel built boilers with a heating surface of 3.200 square feet with pumps, spare parts, pipes en evaporator (boiler numbers 210-211) accepted for ƒ 8.270.

The total building costs were ƒ 75.053 resulting in a profit of ƒ 7.697.
Building costs engine totally ƒ 51.496,00 (labour ƒ 9.913,87, 65% expenses ƒ 6.444,04, stores ƒ35.138.09).
Building costs boilers totally ƒ 23.557,00 (labour ƒ 6.240,00, 60% expenses ƒ 3.744,00, stores ƒ 13.573,00).
