Galley squadron fitted out at Naples to cruise for privateers of the Barbary States according to the Dutch newspaper Amsterdamse courant dated 11 February 1758

An item dated Naples, Italy 14the January reported that the king of Naples ordered to launch the new galley for the admiral of the squadron which was to transport troops towards Sicily and than to cruise for privateers of the Barbary States. The squadron was now still lacking one galley.
