American submarine S. 33 1918-at least 1923

in 1920, completed in 1922, displacement 851 (surfaced)-1.062 (submerged) tons, horsepower 1.200 (surfaced)-1.500 (submerged) hp, oil-fired internal combustion machinery (surfaced)-electric machinery (submerged) and an armament of 1-4” gun, 4-21” torpedo tubes and 12 torpedoes.(1)

1. Laid down by Union Iron Works, San Francisco, California, USA on 14 June 1918, launched on 5 December 1918, commissioned on 18 April 1922, decommissioned on 12 October 1945, stricken on 1 November 1945 and finally sold to the Salco Iron and Metal Company, San Francisco in 1946 to be broken up.
