Dutch fishing companies at Vlaardingen, Netherlands interested in building more steam luggers and trawlers according to the Dutch newspaper Het nieuws van de dag dated 8 March 1898

An item reported that the Dutch company Maatschappij voor Zeevisscherijen Doggersbank, Vlaardingen, Netherlands planned to order the building of a second steam lugger. The firm Van Gelderen of Vlaardingen ordered the building of two steam trawlers caused by the success with the Koningin Wilhelmina which was the first steam lugger of Vlaardingen.
