British dreadnought battleship HMS St. Vincent 1907-1921

St. Vincent-class, improved Bellerophon-class design. Her building was ordered on 26 October 1907, laid down on 30 December 1907, launched on 10 September 1908, sea trials on 17 December 1909, commissioned on 3 May 1910, decommissioned in March 1921 and sold to be broken up on 1 December 1921. Speed during trials 21,67 (maximum) knots. The 2 sets Parsons direct driven steam turbines and 18 Babcock&Wilcox boilers delivered via 4 shafts 24.500 shp/18.300 kW. Range with a speed of 10 knots 6.900 nautical miles. Displacement 19.700 long tons/20.ooo tons (normal) and as dimensions 163,4 (over all) x 25,6 x 8,5 metres or 536 x 84 x 28 feet. Her crew numbered 756-835 men. The armament consisted of 5x2-12”/30,5cm breech loading Ml XI guns, 20x1-4”/10,2cm breech loading Mk VII guns and 3-18”/46cm torpedo tubes. The armour consisted of a 8-10”/20,3-25,5cm  thick belt, 5-8”/12,7-20,3cm thick bulkheads, a 0.75-3”/1,9-7,6cm thick deck while the conning tower, gun turrets and the barbettes were protected by respectively 11”/27,9cm, 8-11”/20,3-27,9cm and 5-10”/12,7-25,4cm thick armour.
