Italian navy waiting with designing battleships according to the Dutch magazine Marineblad dated 1904-1905 no. 10

An item reported that the Italian navy was waiting for certain valuable conclusions dealing with the war between Russian and Japan before the designs for a new type of battleship were made. The displacement was to be 18.000-19.000 ton, the armour very strong, the armament very heavy, a huge speed and especially a long range.
