An item referred to the magazine RM dated 11 1936 reporting that the objections against the building of a 35.000 ton battleship with an armament of 9-40,6cm for Russian account in the USA seemed to be rejected. Russia intended to spent 100-200 million US dollars for obtaining battleships.
