Australian sloop HMAS Geranium (1915) in 1923

Arabis-class. Launched in 1915, completed in 1916, displacement 1.250 tons, horsepower, 2.000 hp, coal fuelled reciprocating machinery and an armament of 1-4.7” gun and 2-3pd anti aircraft guns.

1. Or Flower-class? Launched by Greenock and Grangemouth Company, Scotland for the British Royal Navy on 8 November 1915, decommissioned on 18 October 1919 at Sydney, Australia, handed over to Australia as a gift to be used as a minesweeping training vessel, reactivated on 17 January 1920, commissioned on 14 February 1920, for the last time decmmissioned on 10 November 1927 and sunk off Sydney Heads on 16 April 1934.
