An item referred to tidings dated 14 June 1864 dealing with the movements of the Dutch squadron in the Dutch East Indies reported that the Dutch screw steamship 4th class Berkel lieutenant1st class H.E. Bunnik was stationed in the waters of Celebes, Dutch East Indies and cruising in the northern entrance of Strait Macassar.(1)
