USA navy needed more budget to become as powerful as the Royal British Navy according to the Dutch magazine Marineblad dated 1924 no. 6

An item referred to the magazine Schiffbau dated 27 August 1924 no. 22 reporting that in the meeting of the US House of Representatives officially was stated that at least a budget of 150 million dollar was needed to give the US navy a strength equal to the Royal British Navy.
