Meal of French sailors improved according to the Dutch magazine Marineblad dated 1935 no. 6

An item referred to the magazine Le Yacht dated 5 October 1935 reporting that the daily portion of potatoes in the French navy was increased with 50 grams to 400 grams. Further more was more attention to be paid to the quality of meat given to the crews of the ships. It hat to be meat in the future and less or none fat.
