British Royal navy improving health care on board for wounded sailors during battles according to the Dutch magazine Marineblad dated 1906-1907 no. 6

An item reported that the experiences of the battle at Tsushima between the Russian and Japanese navies led to investigations for all kind of ship types what the best place was for a infirmary during a battle. The wounded men were to be protected against gunfire so by armour or being below the waterline. Further more was investigated how to transport wounded men for which appointed men were trained to execute this within combat breaks.
