Complete German battle fleet for the first time executing manoeuvres according to the Dutch magazine Marineblad dated 1906-1907 no. 6

An item reported that the German navy in the autumn for the first time would have manoeuvres with the complete battle fleet of 16 ships. Three large and 6 small cruisers were to be used for reconnaissance which was an insufficient number according to the author. Further more were to be added 2 coastal defence ships, 36 torpedo boats and the mine division consisting of 7 small torpedo boats and the mother ship Pelikan, used of searching and laying of mines. Totally 28 ships and 43 torpedo boats and totally 17.000 men. Training ships were no longer added to manoeuvres.
