United Kingdom naval ideas not directly accepted by the USA and France according to the Dutch newspaper Het nieuws van den dag voor Nederlandsch-Indië dated 3 February 1926

An item dated Nauen, Germany 2nd reported that the press in several countries the British naval ideas discussed. England wanted to abolish the submarines, limiting the displacement of armoured ships to a maximum of 10.000 tons and changed the maximum ratio of 5:3 for capital ships between the United Kingdom and the USA regarded the extended British Empire. France wanted to maintain submarines just like the USA did. The USA also wanted to keep the large battleships. Until then did Japan not reacted at all.
