France made fuel oil bunkering in harbours possible according to the Dutch magazine Marineblad dated 1924 no. 4

An item referred to the magazine Schiffbau No. 8 dated 23 January 1924 reporting that the French minister of navy proposed recently to built fuel oil tankers with a total capacity of 340.000 tons in the French harbours.
