An item referred to the Mittheilungen aus dem Gebiete des Seewesens reporting that the Russian cruisers Diana, Pallada and Aurora under construction at the Nova yard had a displacement of 6.500 ton and as dimensions 125,88 x 16,90 metres. With Belleville boilers, 3 screws and a horsepower of 11.900 ihp was their speed 20 miles. The armament consisted of 6-15cm guns, 6-12cm guns and 27 smaller quick firing guns and machineguns.
