American destroyer USS McCall performed well during trials according to the Dutch magazine Marineblad dated 1910-1911 no. 11

An item referred to the magazine Marine Rundschau reported that the new American destroyer USS McCall (1) achieved a speed of 33,04 miles during a trial. At the first yard trial had her speed been 32,56 miles and during a 12 hours trial was a speed of 30 miles possible.
