Royal British Navy fitting planned battleships out with anti torpedo guns according to the Dutch magazine Marineblad dated 1912-1913 no. 10
An item referred to the magazine Marine Rundschau dated January 1913 reported that the Royal British Navy reintroduced the secondary armament on her new planned battleships. The guns were to be used for anti torpedo boat warfare and mounted in armoured casemates on the upper deck to be used under all weather conditions. The main armament would consist of 8-38cm guns. The rangefinders received a much large mounting and the fire directors were to be fitted out directly.(1)
