French navy decided to use quadruple turrets for her new battleships according to the Dutch magazine Marineblad dated 1912-1913 no. 10

An item referred to the magazine International Revue über die gesamten A. und F. dated February 1913 reporting that the quadruple gun turrets were to be used for the new French battleships. The many negative commentaries however influenced the design while each turret was now to be divided with an armoured vertical bulkhead into two parts each with 2 guns.(1)
