Dutch tug Woudina sunk in the Ijsselmeer according to the Dutch newspaper Nieuwe provinciale Groninger courant dated 29 November 1940

An item dated Deventer, Netherlands 28th reported that in the evening of the 27th the Dutch tug Woudina with homeport Sliedrecht, Netherlands sunk after hitting a submerged object in the Ijsselmeer. The Woudina was at that moment towing the 500 tons ship Rival (homeport Lith, Netherlands) from Ijmuiden, Netherlands towards Goor, Netherlands. She sunk almost immediately although her crew of 3 men was saved. The tug was to be salvaged as soon as possible.
