Montenegrin guided missile gunboat Rade Koncar RTOP-401 1976->2014


Part of the Koncar-class (Type 240), consisting of the Rade Koncar, Vlado Cetkovic, Ramiz Sadiku, Hasan Zahirovic-Laca, Jordan Nikolov and Ante Banina succeeded by the Kralj-class. Launched at the Tito Sy, Kraljevica, Croatia on 15 October 1976, commissioned in April 1977, decommissioned in 2006 and sold to Kenya in 2014.

According to Combat fleets of the World 2002-2003: Full load displacement 242 tons and as dimensions 45,00 x 8,00 x 1,80-2,50 metres. Armament consisted of 2 P-20/21 Rubezh (SS-N2B Styx) SSM, 1-5,7cm 70-cal Bofors SAJ 57 Mk 1 DP-RT and 1-3cm AK-630 gatling anti aircraft gun. The machinery consisted of 2-4.500 shp Rolls-Royce Proteus gas turbines and 2-3.600 bhp TB92 diesel engines/ Totally 16.200 hp. Range with a speed of 15 respectively 23 knots 1.650 respectively 880 nautical miles. Crew numbered 30 men (included 5 officers).
