Dutch screw steamship Samarang arrived at Batavia, Dutch East Indies coming from the Netherlands according to the Dutch newspaper Java-bode dated 28 June 1889

An item dated Batavia, Dutch East Indies 27th reported the arrival of the Dutch steamship Samarang, captain Van der Wijk, coming from Rotterdam, Netherlands, Marseille, France and Colombo, Ceylon, shipping agents Rotterdamsche Lloyd.(1)
