Turkey ordered building warships in Japan according to the Dutch magazine Marineblad dated 1935 no. 2

An item reported that the defence budget of Turkey for the budget year 1934-1935 increased with more as 20% to 60 million guilders. The government ordered the building of 2-8.000 ton cruisers, 2 destroyers and some other vessels in Japan.
