New guns for planned Italian super dreadnoughts according to the Dutch magazine Marineblad dated 1913-1914 no. 6



An item referred to the Moniteur de la Flotte dated 4 October reporting that the new 38,1cm guns for the 4 planned Italian super dreadnoughts had a weight of 60 tons firing a projectile with a weight of around 900 kilo. It was able to fire 300 times with war prepared projectiles without disadvantaging the accuracy.(1)
