An item reported that on 16th April at Vickers, Sons &Maxim the British submarine A2 was launched.(1) She was of a new design and larger as predecessor the A1 with a large number of improvements which were needed as shown by recently tests executed at Portsmouth, England. Two submarines of similar size were already under construction and to be followed by more.
