British built pontoon underway towards Minorca according to the British magazine The Engineer dated 28 June 1901

An item reported that on Thursday 20th a self-docking pontoon left the Tyne towed by 7 tugs towards open sea and from there with 3 tugs towards the harbour of Port Mahon, Minorca. She was the largest of her type existing and built by R. Stephenson&Co., Hebburn, England for account of the Spanish government. Consisted of 6 sections and with a lifting capacity of 13.000 tons.
