Mexican and Italian governments seizing each other merchant ships according to the Dutch newspaper Nieuwe Venlosche courant dated 2 May 1941

An item dated Rome, Italy 1st reported that as a result of the seizure by the Mexican government of 10 Italian ships lying in Mexican harbour seized the Italian cabinet 3 motor ships under construction for Mexican account at Italian shipyards.
