Van Straelen-class designed by Dutch naval engineer H.J. Wimmers of the Dutch Department for Defence. Pennant M882. Laid down by the Arnhemse Scheepsbouw Mij., Arnhem, Netherlands on 19 September 1960, launched on 26 August 1961, commissioned on 21 March 1962, stricken on 1 January 1984, sold to Delft Geophysical, Netherlands on 26 November 1986 and later resold to private persons. Now being converted into a houseboat.
Displacement 171,3 ton and as dimensions 33,08 x 6,87 x 1,80 metres. The 2x550ahp Werkspoor diesel engines allowed with the 2 screws a speed of 1 knots. Crew numbered 14 men. Armament consisted of 1-2cm machinegun.
