An item referred to the Revista Marittime dated August 1938 reporting that between 1 January and 1 July 1938 for account of the Italian navy were launched 3-1.620 ton destroyers (Geniere, Granatiere and Corazzierre), 10 torpedo boats varying between 620 and 679 ton (Aerone, Luice, Aretusa, Partenope, Barbarigo, Calipso, Circe, Ariel, Clio and Calliope) and 11 submarines varying between 620 and 953 ton (Scire, Nani, Tembien, Venieo, Durbo, Provana, Benedetto Brin, Lafola, Bertiel, Galvani and Erno).
