An item referred to the magazine RUSI dated February 1936 reporting that the main armament of the Italian battleships Littorio and Vittorio Veneto was to consisted of 9-38cm/15” guns. Dimensions 754 x 103.66 x 30 feet and a speed of 34 knots.(1)

1. The Littorio-class with an actual displacement of varying between 45.029-45.485 tons and consisting of the Littoral (1934), Vittorio Veneto (1934), Roma (1938) and Impero (1938).
