Romanian cargo ship Sandu lost according to the Dutch newspaper Leeuwarder courant dated 8 December 1939

An item dated Bucharest, Romania 8^th December reported that the Romanian cargo ship Sandu loaded with grain was lost on the Black Sea near the Bulgarian-Turkish border, under way from Constanza towards Palestina. What caused the disaster was unknown. Of the crew of 16 men escaped just four with a boat, the rest was missing.
