An item referred to the Proceedings dated December 1935 reported that the torpedo workshop at Fort Matila/Greenock, England was to be increased. The new plant originally plant for the Argyll Motor Limited in 1905 situated 2 miles of Loch Lomond and 15 miles of the Loch Long torpedo test range.
