German navy ordered building of still more torpedo boats according to the magazine Mitteilungen aus dem Gebiete des Seewesens dated 1913 No. 3

An item reported that the in contrary to 1912 when just the Schichau shipyard at Elbing received the orders for building torpedo boats for the German navy were for 1913 also other shipyards to be in charge. The new boats were to be larger with an increase of the building costs from 8,5 million (in July 1912) to 10 million mark (nowadays). For the torpedo armament was 1.850.000 mark available against the 1.680.000 mark in the past.
