An item reported that on 2nd February the Portuguese Department of Navy at Lisbon, Portugal would open the registration for tenders for the building of 2-2.000 tons 1st class aviso’s, 2-1.000 tons 2nd class aviso’s, 4-400 tons torpedo boats, 2-750 tons submarines and a mother ship for aircraft.(1)
