British steam cargo ship Cavour sold towards the Netherlands to be broken up according to the Dutch magazine Schip en Werf dated 1 March 1929

An item reported that the Frank Rijsdijk’s Industrieele Ondernemingen, Hendrik-Ido-Ambacht, Netherlands bought the British steam cargo ship Cavour from Lamport&Holt Ltd., Liverpool, England to be broken up. Costs 10.500 pound sterling. Gross register tonnage 4.978 tons. Built by Sir R. Dixon&Co., Middlesborough, England in 1895.
