Norwegian frigate Manicia apparently not leaking was feared for according to the Dutch newspaper Rotterdamsch nieuwsblad dated 28 October 1921

An item dated Ijmuiden, Netherlands 27 October reported that the sailing ship Manicia a day earlier towed into the harbour was probably not leaking. Efforts were now done to get her up by adjusting the ballasting. On the 25th reported she that it was a iron built frigate of 1.868 gross and 1.810 net tons, built in 1882 and owned by Mij. Bruusgaard, Drammen, Norway.
