An item reported the arrival of the large Norwegian frigate Manicia [of Drammen] in the harbour of Ijmuiden, Netherlands towed by 2 Ducth and one German steam trawlers supported by the Dutch tugs Katwijk and Visschershaven. She was underway from Cardiff with a ballast of sand bound for Tønsberg. Heavily damaged due to a storm was she abandoned. Captain H. Henriksen.
