An item reported that on a public auction at Ijmuiden, Netherlands on 7 March 1919 the Dutch iron steam trawler Verano (IJM 48) was sold to Joh. N. Klein, Ijmuiden for ƒ 69.300. Built by J. Duthie Sons&Co., Aberdeen, Scotland in 1896. Gross register tonnage 1555,92 tons, net register tonnage 78,54 tons and dimensions 36,94 x 6,16 metres. Coal bunker capacity 110 tons of 1.000 kg. Fitted out with 1-204hp compound steam engine and a boiler with a heating surface of 78 square metres and a pressure of 8,65 kilo/square metre.
