French pusher tug Hippolyte Bloch 1970-1998


Dimensions 30 (between perpendiculars)-32 (over all) x 12,93 (moulded)-13 (maximum) x 2,75 (depth) x 1,65 (draught) metres. Machinery consisted of 3x1.600 hp high speed SACM diesels (later replaced by 3x1.763hp) driving 3 screws. Built for the service on the Rhine at the shipyard N.V. Scheepswerf en Machinefabriek De Biesbosch, Dordrecht, Netherlands with yard number 565 for account of the Compagnie Francaise Rhenane, Strasbourg, France in 1970. Push capacity 6 standard barges of each 2.200/2.600 ton. Stricken and broken up by Plezier B.V., Amsterdam, Netherlands.
