Greek steam tug Sofia active on the Danube according to a CIA report dated 8 July1948

An item dealing with the tugs on the Danube, Romania reported the Greek steam tug Sofia fitted out with a 180hp Nicholson steam engine and a speed of 15 kilometres. In the past she was owned by the Jew Moreno Klarsfeld and Greek-flagged. Lying at Odessa (Ukraine) was she used by the Russians since the end of 1944.
